Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a senior software engineer in Singapore to build platforms and integrations connecting Airwallex with software customers rely on. You will work across ecosystem products, developer infrastructure and partner integrations to simplify financial operations and expand our API ecosystem.

You will design secure APIs, build API tooling, and shape the App Marketplace roadmap while improving developer experience through clear docs and tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing internet apps, large financial systems or e-commerce platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Kotlin, C++, Python or similar.
• Direct experience building/maintaining a public-facing developer platform, app marketplace or extension framework.
• Experience designing APIs and integrations with external financial institutions or third-party platforms.
• Experience building scalable, reliable systems and collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve platforms and integrations across accounting, HR, ERP, marketplace, payment and open-banking systems.
• Build secure, reliable APIs, SDKs, webhooks and UI-extension patterns for third-party developers and partners.
• Shape the technical roadmap for the App Marketplace and Extension Framework, including architecture, standards and security practices.
• Improve developer experience via documentation, sandboxes and tooling, collaborating with backend, product, design and GTM teams.
