Job summary

GovTech, Singapore, is seeking a Software Engineer for a 2-year fixed-term contract to own features across multiple components and own CI/CD pipelines. You will balance performance, security, and maintainability while collaborating with teams to improve product quality.

You will contribute to infrastructure, cloud platforms, and automation, including AI-assisted code reviews and post-deployment monitoring. The role emphasizes reliability, scalability, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of software engineering and DevOps/cloud infra experience.
• Proven track record building scalable cloud platforms or shared infrastructure.
• Experience driving cross-team engineering standards or platform adoption.

Responsibilities

• Own features and technical work spanning multiple components; work with some independence.
• Deliver end-to-end features and proofs of concept; balance performance, security, and maintainability.
• Manage CI/CD processes and deployment pipelines; address technical debt.
• Participate in incident triage and resolution; communicate issues clearly to team.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, edge cases, and security, ensuring maintainability.
