Job summary

ANOTECH ENERGY SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance software for surveillance, command and control, radar, and defence platforms.

You will contribute to real-time, multi‑threaded software in Linux and embedded environments, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and ensure strict cybersecurity and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience using C++.
• Strong proficiency in C++11/14/17 (or later) and OOD.
• Experience with Linux-based development environments.
• Solid understanding of multi-threading and concurrency, IPC, networking (TCP/IP, UDP).
• Experience using Git, GitLab, SVN or equivalent configuration management tools.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall environments.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and maintenance of high-performance software solutions used in surveillance, command &control, radar, communication, and other defence technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications using modern C++.
• Develop software components for real-time and mission-critical systems.
• Participate in software architecture, design reviews, and technical discussions.
• Translate system and customer requirements into software specifications and technical solutions.
• Implement multi-threaded, high-performance, and scalable software modules.
• Develop and optimize software for Linux and/or embedded environments.
• Integrate software with hardware devices, sensors, communication systems, and network interfaces.
• Perform software verification, validation, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Produce technical documentation, design documents, test plans, and user manuals.
• Support software integration, factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with software quality, cybersecurity, functional safety, and defence standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership during project execution.

Essential Requirements
