Job summary

ANOTECH ENERGY SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Digital Engineering & Services team in Singapore.

You will develop backend features for a complex solution, collaborating within a cross-functional scrum team to deliver a performant service for mobile connectivity. The role requires 5+ years of Java development experience, expertise in Linux, Docker, GCP, CI/CD, RESTful APIs, and a strong understanding of microservices and design patterns.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 5 years experiences as a developer with Java technologies to develop a software solution deployed in GCP Serverless Platform.
• Experience in Linux, Docker, GCP (Google Cloud Platform), CI/CD pipeline, Restful API, Karate test framework, working with relational database, understanding of design patterns and micro service architecture.

Responsibilities

• You will develop the backend features as a part of a complex solution that requires expertise on designing, implementing, validating, and deploying the features.
• You will contribute on writing and reviewing technical product documentations as well as user documentations.
• You will work together and collaborate with a productive cross-functional team under a scrum process.
• You will work together and collaborate with other teams working on different sub-systems to be integrated with solution you are developing.
• You shall ensure compliance with development rules and policies, then also to apply the best practices.
• Reviews and challenge the requirement specifications & alert on unclear scope, possible issues & risks foreseen.
• Manage technical risks and share them with project manager, hub manager, and engineering manager on regular basis.
• Perform regular report (tasks progress, risks, etc).

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
