Job summary

HP in Singapore seeks a software engineer to own, maintain, and enhance platforms supporting product qualifications, lab operations, and hardware validation. You will design and sustain test apps, databases, and reporting systems, while driving cross-system integration and ensuring secure, reliable data flows.

Collaborate with hardware R&D and network teams to translate testing needs into software solutions and automation, supporting global sites from Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain, and enhance software platforms supporting product qualifications, validation, and laboratory operations supporting hardware validation activities.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom test applications, databases and reporting systems.
• Drive end-to-end integration across software applications, databases, backend services, and user interfaces.
• Troubleshoot system integration, data flow, logging, and test execution issues to minimize operational downtime.
• Collaborate with hardware R&D engineers to understand testing requirements and translate them into software solutions.
• Partner with the Network Support Engineer to improve data transfer performance between workstations and centralized servers, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements at the application and software layers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and implement automation opportunities that improve productivity and efficiency.
