Job summary

QUANTUM INFOTECH SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, MVC, and RESTful Web APIs in a client-focused environment in Singapore.

You will map business requirements to technical solutions, integrate systems via RESTful services, WCF, and databases (MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), and drive CI/CD practices with GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD across environments.

Qualifications

• Design, development, and maintenance of applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, MVC, and RESTful Web API.
• Mapping business requirements into functional specifications and technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of client specifications and requirements.
• Development and maintenance of applications using the listed technologies.
• Application integration using RESTful Web Services, WCF, and databases (MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Identification and resolution of issues including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• ETL processes using SSIS and job scheduling with Control-M.
• CI/CD activities using GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD across environments.
• Documentation of development, testing, deployment, and support activities.
• Participation in project status meetings with development teams, BAs, DevOps, and clients.
• Issue and defect tracking using JIRA.

Job description

1. Analysis of the specifications and requirements provided by the client.
2. Design, development, and maintenance of applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, MVC, and RESTful Web API.
3. Mapping business requirements and translating them into functional specifications and technical solutions.
4. Application integration using RESTful Web Services, WCF, Entity Framework, and database technologies such as MS SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
5. Identification and resolution of application and environment-related issues, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
6. Development and maintenance of ETL processes using SSIS and scheduling of jobs using Control-M.
7. Involvement in CI/CD activities using GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD, including application deployment across environments.
8. Create and maintain documents associated with development, testing, deployment, and support activities.
9. Active involvement in project status meetings with development teams, business analysts, DevOps teams, and clients.
10. Issue and defect tracking using JIRA.
