Job summary

IPI Technolab in Singapore seeks a senior .NET/Azure software architect to design and build scalable, secure enterprise applications. You will lead microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems while shaping architecture, standards, and best practices across teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, cloud modernization, and mentorship, with strong focus on SOLID, DDD, CQRS, and secure software practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE; MCA/M.Tech optional.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong .NET/C#.
• Hands-on expertise in C#, .NET 6/7/8+, ASP.NET Core, Web API, EF Core, SQL Server.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale apps and microservices.
• Knowledge of architecture, distributed systems, SOLID, Clean Architecture, DDD, CQRS.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and cloud-native architecture.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, and infra automation.
• Experience with messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ/Azure Service Bus) and NoSQL.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities :

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications using C#, .NET / ASP.NET Core, Web API, and Azure.
• Define application architecture, technical standards, design patterns, coding standards, and best practices.
• Lead the design and development of microservices, REST APIs, event-driven systems, and distributed applications.
• Evaluate business and technical requirements and translate them into robust, maintainable technical solutions.
• Design solutions using Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and appropriate design patterns.
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database solutions using SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Redis, or equivalent technologies.
• Develop cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure and guide teams on cloud adoption and modernization.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Establish application security standards covering authentication, authorization, API security, identity management, encryption, and secrets management.
• Analyze system performance, scalability, reliability, and availability and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Lead modernization initiatives, including legacy application migration, monolith-to-microservices transformation, and cloud migration.
• Conduct architecture and code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, security, and adherence to established standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and senior engineers.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's degree such as MCA/M.Tech is an advantage but not mandatory.
• 510 years of professional software development experience, with significant experience in .NET/C#.
• Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET 6/7/8+, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale applications and microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, distributed systems, design patterns, SOLID, Clean Architecture, DDD, and CQRS.
• Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Azure services such as Azure App Service, Functions, AKS, Service Bus, API Management, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, and Application Insights.
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
• Strong database knowledge, including SQL performance tuning, indexing, transactions, database design, and NoSQL technologies.
• Good understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, RBAC, OWASP, and secure application development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and make architecture decisions based on scalability, security, performance, cost, and maintainability.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
