Job summary

Avaloq Group is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join the Service Operations – CLM/CRM team. You will design, develop, and support business-critical applications, ensuring stability, performance, and maintainability for our clients in the wealth management technology space.

You will work with Business Analysts, Service Managers, Product teams, and Delivery teams to enhance applications, resolve issues, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 6+ years' experience as a Software Developer in banking/financial services.
• Strong programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of RDBMS, Oracle SQL queries, and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of Java; Unix and Python are valuable.
• Experience in software design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD concepts.
• Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork.
• English fluency (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable, reliable operation of CLM/CRM and integrated third‑party applications.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and complex technical issues.
• Design, develop, test, and implement high-quality code fixes for defects.
• Perform root cause analysis and deliver permanent resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the SDLC.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications to meet evolving requirements.
• Participate in client workshops and support requirements analysis.
• Support testing activities including UAT and integration tests.
• Maintain technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing.
