Senior Social Worker: Lead Casework & Programs

Job summary

Allkin Singapore Ltd is seeking experienced social workers to conduct needs assessments, provide consultations, and support holistic case management. You will document cases, review complex cases, and lead multi-disciplinary team activities.

Responsibilities span community development, program design, supervision of junior staff, and research contributions. Strong clinical assessment and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Master's in Social Work.
• Postgraduate qualifications and specialised training in relevant practice areas (e.g. trauma-informed care, mental health, family work) will be an advantage.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in social work, with strong experience in casework, counselling, group facilitation, and community-based interventions.
• Registered Social Worker and/or Registered Counsellor with the relevant professional body.
• Strong clinical assessment, intervention, and supervisory capabilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, stakeholder management, and collaborative working skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, sound judgement, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in youth work and/or family services will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough needs and risk assessments, provide expert consultations, and support holistic case management.
• Maintain accurate casework documentation, approve case assessments, and co-lead reviews of complex cases.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, lead case conferences, and supervise intervention plans.
• Lead therapeutic and support group sessions, develop outreach programs, and ensure effectiveness through supervision and evaluations.
• Design and implement community development initiatives, mobilize resources and volunteers, and organize community programs.
• Lead the development of programs addressing service gaps, design and evaluate initiatives, and oversee their implementation.
• Share best practices, mentor junior social workers and conduct training programs.
• Ensure adherence to ethical standards, guide systemic service delivery, and manage critical incidents.
• Identify practice gaps, design research projects, and contribute to social work knowledge.
• Support clinical competency development, manage field supervision for students, and lead organizational projects.
