Job summary

SINDA in Singapore is seeking an experienced Social Work professional to lead casework, group work and community development initiatives. You will supervise social workers, develop training and ensure governance standards across programmes. The role focuses on social mobility, client well-being and partnership building.

The ideal candidate holds a Master in Social Work with 6+ years of experience, strong reporting skills, budgeting know-how, and a collaborative mindset for cross-agency work.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree, Graduate Diploma or Master in Social Work.
• At least 6 years of relevant social work experience.
• Accreditation as a Social Worker by SASW is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Meticulous with good prioritisation and time management.
• Strong analytical report-writing and interpersonal communication skills.
• Prior experience in budget planning and financial management is a plus.
• Able to participate in SINDA-wide events.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct case and risk assessments for complex, high-risk cases.
• Monitor and review case progress and evaluate care plans and interventions.
• Prepare and maintain social reports in accordance with SOPs and guidelines.
• Review social reports prepared by social workers to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Foster partnerships with multi-disciplinary teams and agencies to deliver plans.
• Lead the delivery of domain-specific interventions.
• Use home visits, phone calls, and face-to-face interviews for assessment and monitoring.
• Review and guide group work development and outreach plans.
• Conduct therapeutic group work and track outcomes.
• Lead demographics analyses and initiate community development campaigns.
• Develop partnerships with influencers and stakeholders to bridge service gaps.
• Audit, evaluate and modify service delivery to meet client needs.
