Job summary

Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA) invites a contract-position Social Worker to promote social mobility and development through community social cohesion. You will lead casework, group work, and community initiatives, ensuring high standards of governance and service delivery.

The role requires a degree in social work and at least six years of relevant experience; SASW accreditation is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in social work or related field.
• Accreditation by SASW is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct case assessments for high-risk cases.
• Monitor progress and evaluate care plans and interventions.
• Prepare social reports and ensure quality standards.
• Foster partnerships with multi-disciplinary teams and agencies.
• Lead domain-specific interventions and high-risk case conferences.
• Engage clients via home visits, phone, or face-to-face interviews.
• Lead group work and community development initiatives.
• Develop training and supervise social workers.
• Audit and improve service delivery at department level.
