Job summary

THYE HUA KWAN MORAL CHARITIES LIMITED is seeking a Senior / Social Work Associate to provide casework intervention and counselling, facilitate groups, and implement structured programmes for clients and their families. You will conduct comprehensive client assessments and coordinate group activities to support families in need.

Onsite work arrangement is offered, with liaising duties to external stakeholders and robust administrative responsibilities to maintain records.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Social Work or higher degree accepted.
• Any recognised degree may also apply
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Multi-tasker with a strong work ethic
• Able to work well in a team (Team player)
• Prior experience in social service sector would be an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing casework intervention and counselling services.
• Facilitate groups, conduct and implement structured programmes for clients and families.
• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to collect functional, environmental, psycho-social, financial, employment, housing, education and health information.
• Coordinate group work and community development activities and programmes.
• Serve as primary point of administrative contact and liaison with external stakeholders.
• Perform administrative functions and maintain records.
