Job summary

Bitdeer, a world-leading technology company for Bitcoin mining and AI cloud, seeks an experienced HPC/Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, operate, and optimize large-scale Slurm clusters and multi-tenant GPU fabrics. You will lead multi-tenant scheduling policy, Slinky-based orchestration, and integration with Kubernetes for hybrid workloads.

The role requires deep Slurm expertise, strong GPU fabric fundamentals, and hands-on experience with Terraform/Ansible automation, Kubernetes

Qualifications

• 8+ years in HPC or cloud infrastructure engineering.
• 4+ years operating production Slurm clusters.
• Strong GPU and fabric fundamentals.
• Clear written and verbal English for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate production Slurm clusters on bare metal and VMs with high-availability.
• Implement topology-aware scheduling for GPU fabrics and validate placement using NCCL bandwidth.
• Own account/association trees, partitions, QOS, fairshare, preemption, reservations, and per-tenant limits.
• Lead Slurm-on-Kubernetes work, including Slinky or similar stacks, with REST interfaces and Helm delivery.
• Enable elastic capacity between Slurm and Kubernetes using cloud and power-save mechanisms.
• Manage container and job runtimes with Pyxis/Enroot, containerd, CUDA_VISIBLE_DEVICES controls.
• Write runbooks and tenant-facing docs, onboard enterprise customers, and mentor platform engineers.
• Document constraints and tradeoffs for customers before exposure.
