Job summary

Patsnap in Singapore is seeking a Senior SRE with strong software engineering skills to join our Singapore team. You will improve platform reliability, independently develop tools and automation, and apply AI to engineering challenges. You will work with the SRE Leader and Staff SRE on our AI transformation.

You will collaborate with global teams, contribute hands-on to design, testing, and troubleshooting, and help build AI-enabled engineering workflows across the platform.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software development, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Proficient in Python/Go/Java/JavaScript-TS and building tools/services.
• Strong Linux, networking, and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Improve reliability, security, performance, and scalability of the SaaS platform.
• Deliver defined engineering projects from design to production rollout.
• Develop internal tools and automation to simplify operations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and alerting.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and resolve production incidents.

We are looking for a Senior SRE with solid software engineering skills and a proactive approach to AI adoption to join PatSnap’s Singapore team.

You will improve platform reliability, independently develop tools and automation, and apply AI to practical engineering challenges. Working with the SRE Leader and Staff SRE, you will contribute hands‑on to the company’s AI transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve the reliability, security, performance, and scalability of our SaaS platform.
• Independently deliver defined engineering projects from technical design and development through production rollout.
• Develop internal tools and automation to simplify operations and improve engineering efficiency
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and alerting.
• Participate in a team on‑call rotation providing 24/7 coverage, resolve production incidents, and implement follow‑up improvements.
• Apply AI tools and agents to development, testing, and troubleshooting, and help build AI‑enabled engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams through code reviews, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.

Job Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in software development, SRE, platform engineering, or a related technical field.
• Solid programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience independently developing and maintaining tools or services.
• Good understanding of Linux, networking, and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability, including production troubleshooting.
• Practical experience using AI tools in engineering work, with the ability to verify their outputs and identify useful applications.
• Strong ownership, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English; Chinese language proficiency is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Contributions to open‑source projects.
• Experience building developer tools, automation, or applications using AI APIs or agents.
