Job summary

Yew Seng Heng M and E Engineering in Singapore seeks a capable Project Engineer/Coordinator to oversee plumbing and sanitary construction projects. You will coordinate with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to align goals and progress, attend site walks, and manage schedules.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, 5 years of experience, familiarity with PUB codes, BIM Revit, Autodesk software, and a valid SG driving license is

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing plumbing & sanitary construction projects.
• Possessing a valid Plumber License is highly preferred.
• Strong familiarity with PUBs codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Experience with BIM Revit and Autodesk software is preferred.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to align project goals and progress.
• Attend site walks and meetings; resolve issues promptly with all stakeholders.
• Manage project schedules, align with main contractor’s master schedule, and handle delays.
• Monitor site progress to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality standards.
• Ensure Engineers and Supervisors follow the latest approved drawings.
• Oversee and manage all project drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy and proper implementation.
• Handle contract documents like Extension of Time (EOT), Variation Orders (VO), and claims.
• Prepare and submit site progress claims; verify subcontractors’ claims for accuracy.
• Enforce safety rules and PPE requirements with site safety officers.
• Report to the Project Director and follow instructions for smooth project delivery.
• Maintain project records and provide regular progress and risk updates.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
