Job summary

Ant Consultants is seeking a Resident Engineer (RE) / Resident Technical Officer (RTO) on a 28-month contract to lead site supervision across structural, geotechnical, temporary, and architectural works in Orchard, Singapore. You will liaise with engineers, regulators, and contractors to ensure timely completion and compliance with MOM requirements.

The role requires a valid RE/RTO accreditation from IES and strong knowledge of the Building Control Act.

Qualifications

• RE/RTO accreditation from IES is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Building Control Act and regulations.
• Ability to liaise with contractors and consultants.
• Experience supervising multiple disciplines on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and supervision with engineers and regulators.
• Verify site conditions against shop and construction drawings.
• Maintain site safety and quality systems on site.
• Produce daily site condition and progress reports for clients.
• Provide on-demand supervision as directed by the consultant team.
• Supervise structural, geotechnical, temporary, architectural works and identify non-conformities.
• Conduct regular site inspections for MOM compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive site documentation and minutes.
• Attend site meetings to communicate progress and issues.
