Job summary

ACHIEVE CAREER CONSULTANT PTE LTD is assisting a renowned building and construction firm in Singapore to recruit a Site Engineer. You will interpret technical designs, provide advice on-site, and assist in resolving construction issues while upholding safety, quality, and environmental standards.

You will collaborate with QAQC, project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve site challenges, monitor progress, and ensure contractual compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 3-5 years in building and construction projects
• Adaptable to a fast-paced, busy environment

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical designs, provide technical advice, and assist in resolving construction issues while ensuring compliance with the Project Quality Plan, safety, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with the QAQC team for inspections, maintain records of work and materials, and ensure quality performance meets customer requirements.
• Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to address site issues, discrepancies, and construction challenges.
• Cost and Contract Management: Track project variations, claims, and cost impacts while implementing cost control measures to meet budget requirements.
• Reporting and Compliance: Prepare site reports, monitor project progress, and ensure adherence to contractual requirements, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
• Evaluate project outcomes, document lessons learned, and implement best practices for future improvements.
