Job summary

Molex leads in high‑speed interconnects and is seeking a Senior Engineer, Signal Integrity, to provide advanced SI design support in Singapore. You will perform simulations, characterization, and development of electrical design capabilities that influence product development and customer solutions.

You will join the DSS division’s engineering team in Singapore, report to the Director of Engineering, and collaborate with Product Design, Sales & Marketing, and cross‑functional partners worldwide

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years experience in electrical/signal integrity design.
Strong understanding of electromagnetics.

Responsibilities

Perform finite element simulations of electro-mechanical interconnects.
Model electro-mechanical parameters mathematically.
Characterize high-speed connectors using testing and modelling.
Develop empirical and analytical test procedures and specs.
Design test fixtures and verification boards.
Collaborate with PCB design houses and external partners.
Generate evaluation and qualification reports for internal and customer use.
Provide expert guidance on signal integrity to marketing, sales, and customers.
Lead R&D in advanced electrical design technologies.
Develop guidelines to mitigate EMI and thermal issues.
Support high-speed serial I/O, backplane, board-to-board, and channel applications.
