Job summary

Emerson in Singapore is seeking a Service Engineer to lead valve servicing in-house and at customer sites, including site walks and implementation. You will troubleshoot valves and control instruments, schedule service jobs with the customer service team, and conduct on-site or in-house repair work while upholding safety standards and reporting root causes.

The role requires travel on short notice, a Diploma in Mechanical/Instrumentation and strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering with at least 4 years of related experience, preferably in instrumentation, process or service industry.
• Experience in a service operation or maintenance (mechanical and electrical) is a plus.

• Ensures compliance of workplace safety rules, including reporting unsafe work conditions and providing suggestions to improve safety/ health at work.

Job Summary

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Participates in site survey and site implementation for all valves relating initiatives.

• Ensures compliance of workplace safety rules, including but not limited to the usage of a personal protective equipment, if provided to you, while working; not involve in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger peers or oneself; reporting unsafe work conditions and providing suggestions to improve safety/ health at work, as needed.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Good knowledge on control valves, on/off valves, actuators and control and instrumentation.

• Able to travel on short notice.

• Experience in a service operation or maintenance (mechanical and electrical) is a plus.

• Possess a Class 3 driving license would be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Diploma in Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering with at least 4 years of related experience, preferably in instrumentation, process or service industry
