Job summary

Dyson Singapore is seeking a Lead Electronics Engineer – Sensors / Vision to provide technical leadership in sensing technologies for Dyson products. You will drive development of Vision Systems, LiDAR, ToF and related sensors, from concept to production readiness.

You will collaborate with hardware, software, mechanical, test and manufacturing teams, mentor engineers, and engage suppliers to deliver robust sensing solutions across Dyson product lines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in sensing/vision system design, implementation, testing, analysis and characterization.
• Good knowledge of optics and optical simulation tools; experience with ray tracing and illumination design.
• Solid understanding of sensing technologies, sensor physics, interfaces, calibration, and integration concerns.
• Strong data analysis skills; proficient in MATLAB or Python for development and analysis.
• Experience defining test methods, collecting data, and translating findings into improvements.
• Experience working with suppliers/partners to evaluate sensing modules and influence roadmaps.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and system-level problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with hardware lab equipment, prototype bring-up, validation and testing.",

Responsibilities

• Lead development of sensing platform architectures for Vision Systems, LiDAR and related sensors.
• Translate requirements into architectures, data collection plans and validation approaches.
• Develop and validate sensing algorithms; perform data analysis and signal processing.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Mechanical, Test, Manufacturing, Product and Quality teams for integration.
• Provide technical leadership from concept to production readiness.
• Engage suppliers to evaluate sensing technologies and guide roadmaps.
• Prepare documentation and analyses to support decision making across projects.
