Job summary

Dyson in Singapore is seeking an experienced Lead Electronics Engineer - Sensors to provide technical leadership across Air Quality sensing, LiDAR, Vision Systems and position/displacement sensing for Dyson products. You will shape sensing architectures and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, production-ready solutions.

You will mentor engineers, engage with suppliers, and define validation plans from concept through production.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Typically 5+ years of experience in sensing system design and implementation.
• Solid understanding of sensor physics and sensing architectures.
• Strong data analysis skills with Matlab; Python beneficial.
• Experience with hardware integration and product validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of sensing technology platforms across Dyson products.
• Translate requirements into sensing architectures and validation approaches.
• Define, develop and validate sensing algorithms using Matlab or Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensing systems into products.
• Provide technical leadership from concept to production readiness.
• Engage suppliers and partners to evaluate sensing technologies and roadmaps.
• Prepare technical documentation and design reviews for decision making.
