Job summary

Adecco Personnel Pte Ltd (Perm) is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive quality initiatives across the new product development lifecycle for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, focusing on qualification, reliability testing, and failure analysis.

You will partner with process engineering, manufacturing, and R&D teams to monitor SPC, reduce defects, and ensure a smooth transition to production, with up to 30% travel to sites and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 3+ years of quality engineering experience in semiconductor.
• Strong knowledge of SPC, 8D, and Six Sigma.
• Experience with New Product Development / New Product Introduction (NPD/NPI).
• Willingness to travel up to 30% (domestic and international).
• Proficient in JMP, Minitab, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance activities for semiconductor equipment, modules, and components.
• Oversee integration projects ensuring quality requirements are met.
• Drive quality initiatives across the NPD/NPI lifecycle from design to production ramp.
• Collaborate with process engineering, manufacturing, and integration teams to monitor SPC, defects, and KPI performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support customer complaints including RMA and field returns.
• Work with Field Service Engineers to monitor field performance and drive improvements.
• Identify cross-functional quality improvements to enhance reliability and performance.
