Job summary

NCS is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead Advanced Sensor projects in the APAC region from Singapore. The role focuses on technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, including pre‑sales support, design, execution, and post‑sales maintenance.

You will cover cost estimates, partner coordination, and bid submissions to ensure technically innovative and financially viable solutions. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in engineering, hands‑on experience with radar/EO systems, and

Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on experience in leading or contributing to major engineering projects.
Specialized knowledge of Advanced Sensor Systems (e.g. Radars, Electro-Optics) is an added advantage.
Good understanding of Python, Ansible, and automation tools is highly preferred.
Experience in system administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Lead Advanced Sensors System projects as the Technical Lead, including cost estimates, resource planning and management to keep within budget and scope.
Collaborate with project team members to implement and deliver projects, coordinating across multiple teams to meet goals and timelines.
Assist the Project Manager in engineering aspects, including design, risk mitigation, and ICIT (Installation, Checkout, Integration and Testing).
Provide SME-level support for systems configurations, troubleshooting, monitoring performance, and testing to meet requirements.
Identify and implement proactive solutions to prevent problems and provide timely fixes for issues/challenges.
Monitor performance and availability, implementing corrective actions to improve reliability and service levels.
