Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Security Systems Engineer in Singapore to manage installation, configuration, and testing of integrated security solutions. You will coordinate with PMs, clients, and vendors to ensure design compliance and timely delivery.

You will prepare documentation, review architectures, and support FAT/SAT tests while ensuring safety and high-quality execution across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer & Science, Instrumentations, or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in installation, configuration, or servicing of listed security platforms.
• Experience with enterprise security platforms such as listed systems and software.
• English proficiency in reading, writing, and conversation.
• Computer literacy and networking knowledge (Windows, Linux, Office, LAN, Fiber).
• Experience in civil and electrical construction works.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate with vendors and make decisions using industry-standard knowledge.
• One or more certifications in listed platforms.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revu BlueBeam.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Handle engineering, configuration, integration, testing, and implementation of security solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation: shop drawings, as-built drawings, manuals, programming matrices.
• Develop system architecture, device schedules, and technical specifications.
• Ensure specifications and material orders align with project requirements.
• Collaborate with customers, PMs, and stakeholders to monitor progress and support installation.
• Perform inspection, setup, testing, and commissioning of security installations (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, Intercoms, locks).
• Support FAT/SAT, pre-commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Identify and resolve system/configuration issues and software integration challenges.
• Promote health and safety policies and foster proactive customer relations.
• Provide on-site placement when needed.
