Job summary

OCBC Group is seeking a Security Platform Engineer in Singapore to own and evolve enterprise endpoint and server security platforms (EDR/XDR). You will define roadmaps, implement standards, and drive automation, observability, and reliability across the bank's security fabric.

The role demands 10+ years in cybersecurity engineering, hands-on platform experience, and the ability to translate risk-based requirements into practical controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience across cybersecurity engineering, security platforms, endpoint security, or related disciplines.
• Practical understanding of endpoint and server telemetry, detection and response, policy design, and platform integrations.
• Experience with enterprise endpoint-security ecosystems such as Vision One, CrowdStrike, Cortex, Defender, Tanium, or Symantec.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Familiarity with Python, Ansible, APIs, CI/CD, scripting, and automation to improve security-platform delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and ownership for enterprise endpoint and server security platforms including EDR/XDR.
• Define and maintain engineering roadmap, standards, service objectives, and backlog.
• Engineer, test, integrate, and improve endpoint/server security controls across platforms.
• Expand capabilities beyond core EDR/XDR with integrated security controls and prevention/detection capabilities.
• Translate requirements into practical security configurations and architecture designs.
• Develop monitoring, telemetry, and dashboards for platform health and coverage.
• Lead investigations and root-cause analyses for complex platform issues.
• Evaluate new features and technologies, conduct assessments, and define implementation plans.
