Qualifications

About the role

Primo Guards Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Security Officer to join our team in the Changi Airport East Region. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to take on a leadership role within our security operations. As a Senior Security Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing security operations, managing security personnel, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and protection across assigned areas. This role is pivotal in maintaining the security integrity of one of Asia's busiest aviation hubs and requires a professional who can lead by example while managing complex security challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and manage security personnel on assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with all security protocols and procedures
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of designated areas to maintain security standards and identify potential vulnerabilities
• Monitor CCTV systems and alarm systems, responding appropriately to any security incidents or alerts
• Prepare and file incident reports, documenting all security events, breaches or suspicious activities in detail
• Implement and enforce security policies, procedures and best practices across all operations
• Conduct security briefings and training sessions for junior security staff to maintain operational excellence
• Respond promptly to security emergencies and coordinate with relevant authorities when necessary
• Liaise with airport management, tenants and other stakeholders regarding security matters and concerns
• Maintain accurate records of access control, visitor management and security equipment maintenance
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements to security measures and protocols

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior security role
• Additional transport allowance given if you have your own car or van.
• Valid Security Industry Practitioners licence
• Proven leadership and people management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and guide security teams
• Strong knowledge of security systems, CCTV monitoring, access control systems and alarm technologies
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders
• Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations
• Physical fitness and ability to perform patrols and respond to security incidents
• Familiarity with airport security protocols and procedures is highly advantageous
• Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
