Job summary

GXS Bank is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to shape the future of information security by building tools to identify and eradicate vulnerabilities across the software development lifecycle. You will work across cloud, DevSecOps, and container security domains to automate security posture.

You will design and implement cutting-edge security controls, shift security left with automation, and contribute to open-source tooling while collaborating with experienced security and engineering teams

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of security engineering experience.
• Experience with scripting languages (Go, Python) for automation.
• Experience with container platforms and frameworks (AWS EKS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of public cloud security and cloud-native security services.
• Familiarity with CIS, NIST800-53, PCI-DSS controls.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cutting edge preventative and detective controls.
• Shift security left in the engineering lifecycle with automation tools.
• Collaborate with security engineers and leads to build scalable security solutions.
• Evaluate and extend open-source security tools and integrate into pipelines.
• Continuously evaluate progress to raise security across the stack.
• Develop automated security scanners for cloud infrastructure as code.
