Job summary

Plaud is building the next generation security function and seeks a hands-on security engineer to own secure SDLC, integrate SAST/DAST into CI/CD pipelines, and progressively secure AI product surfaces. You will shape pragmatic security practices in a fast-moving startup environment.

You will collaborate with engineering and leadership to communicate risk, implement tooling, and grow expertise in AI security as the product evolves.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on security engineering — building and shipping controls.
• Experience in Application Security with concrete delivery evidence.
• Ability to communicate risk to engineering and leadership.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS, OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, SOC 2) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own secure SDLC — SAST/DAST integration in CI/CD (Semgrep, CodeQL).
• Grow into securing our AI product stack over time.
