Job summary

Plaud Inc. is building security engineering into its product stack, owning hands-on application security across the stack, from secure SDLC to CI/CD tooling and eventually securing AI surfaces. This is an early-stage function with real scope to shape how security is built in from day one.

You'll work with a fast-moving team that values ownership, craftsmanship, and velocity, applying SAST/DAST in CI/CD and contributing to risk-aware decisions for a rapidly expanding platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years hands-on security engineering experience.
• Experience in Application Security with demonstrable tooling and delivery.
• Ability to own scope and make autonomous tool/architecture decisions.
• Ability to communicate risk to engineers and leadership.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, CIS, OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, SOC 2.
• Nice to Have: Cloud/infrastructure security, data security, AI/LLM security exposure.

Responsibilities

• Own secure SDLC — SAST/DAST integration in CI/CD (Semgrep, CodeQL), vulnerability triage and remediation workflows.
• Grow into securing our AI product stack over time.
