Job summary

OANDA Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to drive a proactive security lifecycle and safeguard our digital assets.

You will manage advanced controls, optimize threat detection across cloud and on-prem environments, and coordinate with audits, compliance teams, and regulators to ensure standards are met. Responsibilities include threat hunting, vulnerability management, incident response leadership, and designing security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in offensive security, malware analysis, or forensics.
• Experience with security standards (SOC2, ISO27001/2, NIST) and financial regulations.
• Strong communication and ability to translate technical findings for executives.
• Active CISSP preferred; other certifications like CISM, CISA, CEH are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts across EDR, SIEM, and cloud environments to swiftly isolate threats and neutralize potential compromises.
• Proactively hunt for threats and misconfigurations across infrastructure and applications, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
• Own vulnerability management strategy using advanced scanning tools, assess severity, and coordinate remediation with technical teams.
• Contribute to incident response playbooks, act as primary responder to incidents, lead post-mortems, and compile executive reports.
• Provide input on security controls design across cloud, networks, endpoints, firewalls, encryption, and enterprise apps.
• Liaise with internal/external audits and regulatory bodies (e.g., MAS) to remediate compliance gaps.
• Lead security awareness initiatives, design training materials, and mentor teams on best practices.
