Job summary

Airwallex Singapore is seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer to drive the technical backbone of our GTM engine. You will architect scalable backends, implement robust business logic, and build integrations across GTM platforms, while owning operations and production issue resolution.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable systems and help Airwallex scale its commercial operations globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering in backend development, with 2+ years of Salesforce backend experience.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and translate trade-offs for stakeholders.
• Experience integrating AI coding tools into development with good judgment.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, Webhooks and event-driven patterns.
• Balanced, resilient, able to handle production issues and long-term work.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex backend features across Salesforce and related systems.
• Build integrations and APIs connecting GTM systems (Salesforce, Marketo, etc.) with other platforms.
• Support production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
• Promote engineering quality and testing practices across the team.
• Design data models ensuring smooth information flow across systems.
• Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining standards.
