Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer to drive the technical backbone of our GTM engine, architect scalable backend services, and build integrations across Salesforce and external platforms.

You will own operations, monitor pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable systems, helping Airwallex grow its revenue technology at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience in backend development (Node.js, Python, Java, or Go).
• 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce backend experience; track record of scalable systems.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead technical discussions with stakeholders.
• Experience with AI coding tools and validating AI-generated code.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and event-driven patterns.
• Ability to balance long-term work with urgent production issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex backend features across Salesforce and supporting systems.
• Build integrations and APIs connecting GTM systems (Salesforce, Marketo) with other platforms.
• Support production issues; investigate root causes and drive fixes.
• Promote engineering quality and best practices across the team.
• Design data models to ensure smooth information flow across systems.
• Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining standards.
