Job summary

Nodeworthy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own backend services end-to-end, from architecture to deployment. You will primarily work in Rust, designing production-grade services and data pipelines for on-chain data and APIs used by internal tools and client dashboards.

The role emphasizes autonomous work, ownership of data accuracy, and readiness for time-sensitive production releases, including smart-contract interaction when needed. This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity.

Qualifications

• Strong production experience with Rust and asynchronous services.
• Backend fundamentals: distributed systems, concurrency, data modelling.
• Experience with data-intensive, high-throughput systems requiring correctness.
• Blockchain fundamentals: EVM/Solana, RPC, event logs, indexers.
• Ability to write Runbooks and technical documentation.
• Proactive, accountable, and able to work independently in a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate production backend services primarily in Rust.
• Develop indexers and event-processing pipelines for blockchain data.
• Build and maintain APIs powering internal tools and client dashboards.
• Ensure data accuracy and validate reported figures across services.
• Support client launches and production deployments, including runbooks.
• Collaborate with smart-contract engineers for integration when required.
