Alexandra Hospital is seeking a Senior Assistant Manager to join the Reliability Matters team. You will drive risk management, governance, and data protection initiatives, helping shape the hospital's risk culture and safeguard patient information.

The role involves implementing internal controls, coordinating data protection activities, and collaborating with departments to strengthen control environments in a demanding healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of proven experience in internal controls, compliance, or audit in healthcare.
• Degree from a university in Accountancy or equivalent; professional certification preferred (CIA/CA).
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical mind with the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of internal auditing techniques & standards preferred.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, Power Automate) is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Support and enhance risk management, governance, and data protection initiatives.
• Develop and promote positive internal control culture across the institution.
• Identify control gaps and recommend process improvements with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with departments to build data analytics capabilities for controls.
• Monitor implementation plans and provide updates to Senior Management.
• Participate in special reviews and projects as required.
• Assist the Data Protection Officer to ensure PDPA compliance and perform DPIAs.
