Job summary

DBS Bank Asia Central is seeking a Risk Data Quality Senior to implement robust data quality and governance for risk data, aligning with BCBS239 and coordinating with the Data Steward and risk units.

You will manage data quality issues, perform profiling and validation, define critical data attributes, monitor dashboards, and drive cross‑functional improvements with technology and business teams, reporting progress to management.

Qualifications

• Deep and broad understanding of a bank's ecosystem, including source systems, data landscape, operational processes and banking products.
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across technology, business units and support functions to resolve data quality issues.
• Good knowledge of data quality principles and proven experience in data issue management and data profiling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex data issues and present data analyses.
• Capable of delivering with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment and driving cross-functional initiatives.
• Technical skills: SQL, Python.

Responsibilities

• Manage, assign priority and resolve data quality issues across risk data landscapes.
• Perform data profiling, analysis, and validation to identify quality issues and root causes.
• Develop and maintain data quality rules, checks, and dashboards for critical attributes.
• Oversee remediation efforts with data owners, source teams and tech partners.
