Job summary

Raffles Health Insurance is seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance professional to strengthen the company’s risk and compliance framework and ensure operations comply with laws and internal policies. The role provides guidance to management, monitors regulatory developments and supports MAS engagements.

Key duties include maintaining the AML/CFT framework, conducting compliance reviews, coordinating regulatory reporting, and delivering training to stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law, Finance, Accountancy, Business, Risk Management, Compliance or related.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk, regulatory affairs or internal audit.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore regulatory requirements and MAS framework.
• Experience in AML/CFT and financial crime compliance.
• Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and business leaders.
• Independent, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret MAS notices, guidelines, circulars and regulatory requirements relevant to insurance.
• Provide risk and compliance advice to management and business units on new products and processes.
• Assess impact of regulatory changes and coordinate implementation across functions.
• Maintain and enhance risk and compliance policies, procedures and obligations.
• Identify and monitor regulatory risks and recommend mitigating controls.
• Develop and execute risk and compliance monitoring programmes and reviews.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting and submissions to MAS and authorities.
• Support regulatory inspections and information requests; oversee AML/CFT framework.
• Develop and deliver risk and compliance training and awareness programmes.
