Job summary

Prudential Assurance Company Singapore seeks a seasoned Risk & Compliance leader to ensure regulatory adherence across the organization and to design and implement risk programs.

You will coordinate with business units, monitor data privacy and AML/CFT requirements, and support internal audits and governance reporting.

The role requires 6–8 years in risk/compliance within the insurance sector, with strong communication and meticulous stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk and/or compliance within an insurance context.
• Familiar with Financial Advisers Act, MAS Codes, AML/CFT regulations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Organized and meticulous in approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement company policies, groups' requirements, and regulations.
• Provide guidance to business units on insurance-related regulations and integrate them into business plans.
• Stay informed about insurance regulations and ensure updates are shared with stakeholders.
• Identify risks to reputation, information security, or operations and mitigate them.
• Collaborate to document controls related to risk management and compliance.
• Address regulatory requirements with relevant business units and implement measures.
• Articulate compliance matters clearly to representatives and units.
• Assist in internal audits related to risk and compliance.
• Monitor control systems to address violations of regulations and policies.
• Review data privacy, regulatory, sales compliance and financial crime requirements.
• Provide regular or ad-hoc reporting to governance forums.
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks as directed by Head of Risk and Compliance.
