MCI CAREER SERVICES PTE. LTD. is recruiting a Principal Pharmacist in Singapore to lead Retail Pharmacy Operations and Pricing within the public healthcare sector.

This senior role focuses on shaping pricing strategies, optimizing workflows, and driving service excellence. You will lead a team, collaborate with stakeholders, and implement initiatives to enhance retail performance and patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• 8+ years of relevant pharmacy experience.
• Experience in a hospital, medical institution or healthcare environment is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, retail management and pricing.
• Proven leadership capabilities with experience developing and motivating teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance and day-to-day effectiveness of retail pharmacy operations.
• Review and improve workflows covering stock ordering, returns, merchandising, cashiering and customer service.
• Monitor retail pharmacy financial and service performance and develop action plans.
• Ensure pharmacy stocks are maintained with expiry monitoring and wastage control.
• Review customer feedback and implement service improvements.
• Evaluate product ranges to enhance retail revenue and meet customer needs.
• Develop strategies to support future growth and expansion of retail pharmacy services.
• Guide and develop Retail Assistants across merchandising, stock replenishment, and customer service.
• Develop and implement training programmes for the retail pharmacy team.
• Promote teamwork across retail and outpatient pharmacy functions.
• Coach and develop team members to achieve objectives.
• Collaborate with purchasing and supply-chain on procurement matters.
• Support pharmacy contracts, licensing requirements and manpower planning.
• Participate in national pricing initiatives and central warehousing projects.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain pricing structures and governance.
