Job summary

A-STAR Testing & Inspection (S) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced architectural professional for a senior role in Singapore.

The candidate will lead and direct project teams on major construction works, including buildings, tunnels and deep excavation, ensuring delivery to the highest technical and safety standards. The role requires 20+ years in architecture, registration with the Board of Architects, strong contract administration under PSSCOC, and capability to manage manpower

Qualifications

20 years or more of relevant experience as an architectural professional, with at least 15 years on projects of similar size and complexity (major construction works in buildings, tunnels and deep excavation)
Architectural degree recognized by the Board of Architects and currently registered with the Board of Architects
Currently employed under the Contractor for a minimum of 5 years
Proficient in contract administration with Public Service Sector Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC)
Ability to provide overall team direction and management to realise project objectives and activities as required by the Superintending Officer and consultants, ensuring delivery to the highest professional, technical and safety standards
Oversee and administer QSS manpower deployment based on work schedules of main contractors and relevant welfare of personnel
Conversant with Aerodrome Manual, Airside Works Procedures Manual, Airport Operational and Safety (AOS) requirements, and Workplace Safety C Health Manual, with commitment to staying updated on revisions
