Job summary

MONARCH NATIONAL CO. PTE LTD seeks a Registered Resident Engineer to supervise civil and structural site works in Singapore, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and Singapore codes.

You will coordinate with project stakeholders and maintain accurate records to support quality, safety, and progress. Responsibilities include supervising on-site activities, reviewing method statements, witnessing inspections, and ensuring readiness and compliance.

Qualifications

• Registered Resident Engineer (RE) with BCA/IES (Civil & Structural).
• Minimum 1 year of relevant site supervision experience in Singapore with knowledge of local construction practices, BCA requirements, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil and structural works on site according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements
• Ensure all construction activities comply with BCA regulations, project specifications, and relevant Singapore codes of practice
• Monitor site progress, workmanship quality, and safety standards to maintain project integrity
• Witness site inspections, material deliveries, and testing to verify compliance and quality
• Coordinate effectively with Senior Resident Engineer (RE), Qualified Person (QP), consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations
• Review method statements, inspection requests, and construction activities prior to commencement to ensure readiness and compliance
• Maintain accurate and timely site records including daily reports, inspection records, and site instructions to support project documentation
• Identify non-conforming works promptly and ensure corrective actions are implemented to uphold quality standards
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support to resolve issues and advance project objectives
• Communicate and coordinate clearly with team members and stakeholders to support independent and collaborative work within the project supervision team
