Job summary

R.J. Crocker Consultants Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Senior Civil/Structural Supervisor to oversee building and road construction, ensuring high-quality workmanship and strict safety compliance on site.

The candidate will hold a Civil Engineering degree recognized by PEB, RE accreditation with IES, and at least 8 years of civil experience including 3 years on major projects, with shift work possible.

Qualifications

• Min 8 years of civil engineering experience, with 3 years in major construction works (building & road).
• Experience with flexible/rigid aircraft pavement, supervision of large span steel structures, and installation of monitoring instruments.
• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PEB.
• Accredited as a RE with IES.
• Able to perform shift work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractor delivers high-quality work and safety compliance.
• Attend project meetings (site, progress, QAQC).
• Provide ongoing supervision for civil and structural works; ensure compliance with specs and Building Control Act.
• Supervise C&S works including concreting, pavement, drainage, compaction, curing, formwork, and steel works.
• Manage Resident Technical Officers under supervision.
• Coordinate with safety team and enforce safe working practices on site.
• Ensure works do not disrupt client operations; adhere to emergency protocols.
• Verify reports/claims by main contractors and others; inspect quality of work and materials.
• Resolve contractor queries and coordinate works onsite.
• Adhere to shift duty roster; perform other duties as instructed by SRE/OIC/Client.
