Nanyang Technological University Singapore is seeking an exceptional Senior Assistant Director, Research within the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (CoHASS).

You will work with the Dean, Associate Dean (Research) and Director (Operations) to shape and deliver a comprehensive research strategy, translating vision into supported programmes and structures that enable academic excellence and global visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience in research administration, especially in grant sourcing and grant administration in academic or research institutions.
• At least 3 years of people management/leadership experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead and shape the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (CoHASS) research strategy and translate vision into programmes, structures and support systems.
• Oversee the College’s research ecosystem, drive performance and research impact, and foster collaborations with Schools, Research Centres and external partners.
• Ensure alignment between research strategy, operations and resource planning, translating priorities into coordinated execution.
• Provide data-informed strategic insight on research performance and influence to support diverse scholarship and intellectual leadership.
