Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Pioneer, Singapore, seeks a capable Research Office Administration Lead for a 3-year fixed-term contract. The role will lead a team of MSOs to support the Research Office’s operations and ensure robust governance of research projects.

You will oversee grants administration, research finance, staff hiring, and organise events such as seminars and conferences while ensuring data reporting to various offices and external bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ experience in research administration or graduate program management in a tertiary education environment.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience leading a dynamic administration team.
• Financial accounting knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of MSOs to support the operations of the Research Office.
• Oversee and manage the research grants administration (including RCAs), research finance, staff hiring, and governance of research projects and integrity.
• Organise research events (seminars/conferences/workshops) and handle research industry collaborations.
• Handle research data reporting to offices, external agencies, government bodies and for renewals/faculty appraisals.
