Job summary

HERAEUS MATERIALS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced R&D professional to drive powder development and explore new alloy systems for semiconductor materials.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance technology development, PDP and customer projects. The role requires a Master's or PhD in materials science, 4–7 years in the semiconductor materials sector, and hands-on experience with metallurgy equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related field.
• Advanced degrees (Master's or Ph.D.) in material science disciplines are highly desirable.
• At least 4-7 years of experience in the semiconductor material industry, with expertise in metallurgy, powder development, materials characterization, or similar roles.
• Experience in leading technical teams and projects.
• Hands-on experience with various metallurgy / powder development equipment.
• Knowledge of metallurgy, powder manufacturing, and developing/exploring new techniques for product development.
• Knowledge of solder alloy properties, powder manufacturing processes, and semiconductor material applications.

Responsibilities

Job description

This position be responsible for powder development and driving new technics for new alloy systems exploration. This role involves collaborating with various teams for Technology development, PDP and Customer development projects, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our customers and maintain our leading position in the market.

Job Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of metallurgy, powder manufacturing, and the capability of developing / exploring new technics to fulfill the new product development.
• Basic understanding of the solder alloy properties, powder manufacturing process, and applications of semiconductor materials.
• Knowledge of global and local regulations regarding chemical and material safety, waste management, and environmental impact.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets to draw meaningful conclusions.
