Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in system integration, deployment and production support.
• Strong Unix/Linux, Shell scripting and SQL development experience.
• Experience with middleware installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting (Apache, JBoss).
• Proven end-to-end deployment, environment setup, release management and production implementation.
• Experience designing system integrations across web, app, middleware, database and external systems.
• Knowledge of network, firewall, load balancer, DNS and security concepts.
• Experience creating technical artefacts: diagrams, runbooks and deployment docs.
• Solid SDLC, Agile methods and change management.
• Experience coordinating SIT, UAT, Mock Run and Production Verification.
• Strong vendor and stakeholder management and project coordination.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end release management across development, testing, pre-prod and production environments.
• Plan and coordinate deployments, ensuring alignment with change governance and procedures.
• Manage release calendars, pipelines and implementation schedules across projects.
• Coordinate deployment readiness, including scope validation, rollback plans and stakeholder approvals.
• Develop and improve CI/CD deployment processes and orchestration workflows.
• Work with development teams and vendors to promote code, configurations and DB changes.
• Review deployment packages and release artefacts for completeness and compliance.
• Oversee production deployments with post-deployment validation and handover.
• Perform release risk assessments and identify dependencies and conflicts.
• Lead release governance with Change Request (CRQ) reviews.
• Monitor release activities to minimize business impact and escalate issues.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for failed deployments and incidents.
