Job summary

eTeam is seeking a Release Operations Engineer to oversee smooth, reliable software releases in a fast-paced environment. You will monitor deployment pipelines, analyze failures and coordinate hands-off transitions between shifts, ensuring operational stability across production systems.

The role requires strong communication, command-line proficiency, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, with a focus on accuracy and timely RCA reporting. This is a contract position in Singapore.

Job description

Are you passionate about production systems, deployment operations and troubleshooting? We're looking for a Release Operations Engineer to support smooth, reliable and efficient software releases.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with command-line tools and analysing logs, preferably in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and software deployment concepts.
• Basic understanding of Git and version control, including branching, merging and reverting.
• Ability to interpret build, deployment and test failures, troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Experience with web infrastructure or large-scale production systems is an advantage.
• System Engineering background or experience would be a plus.
