Job summary

IMDA Group Legal seeks a policy and regulatory counsel in Singapore to advise on regulatory frameworks, policy developments, and enforcement matters. You will work on innovative projects shaping the infocomm/media landscape and digital economy.

We require a lawyer with at least 7 PQE, admitted in Singapore, strong communication skills, and litigation experience is preferred. You will interact with stakeholders and help craft legal strategies across TMT, ICT, data protection, and related areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law and admission to practice in Singapore.
• Experience communicating complex legal issues clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Advise on policy and regulatory affairs for Telecommunications, Post, Media, and Data Protection (PDPC).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop legislation, regulatory frameworks, and policies.
• Draft contracts and advise on corporate and industry development issues.
• Identify legal risks and develop risk management strategies and internal governance policies.
• Advise on contentious issues and manage litigation.
