Job summary

OCBC is seeking an experienced Red Team Analyst to join our Cyber Security function in Singapore. You will plan and execute adversary simulations and purple team engagements across banking infrastructure, coordinating with Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, and SOC to deliver intelligence-led offensive security assessments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in red teaming, penetration testing, or offensive security, preferably in financial services
• Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and adversary emulation methodologies
• Experience with red team tooling and scripting/automation
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, AD, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network security
• Experience designing engagements with formal RoE and stakeholder management
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain findings to non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with MAS TRM, BNM RMiT, HKMA, CSA CCoP is a strong plus
• Relevant certifications (OSCP/OSCE/CRTP/CRTE/CRTO/GXPN) preferred
• Banking/payments or critical financial infrastructure exposure
• Exposure to purple team exercises and detection engineering

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute red team engagements, adversary emulation exercises against enterprise and banking-critical systems
• Develop attack scenarios and TTP chains mapped to MITRE ATT&CK with threat intelligence input
• Draft and maintain RoE, scoping docs, and exercise plans with proper White Team controls
• Conduct recon, initial access, lateral movement, and post-exploitation in controlled engagements
• Collaborate with Threat Hunting and Detection Engineering to validate detection coverage
• Produce clear reporting with risk ratings, root cause analysis, and remediation guidance
• Support regional engagements across jurisdictions and manage logistics
• Contribute to ongoing red team methodology, tooling, and playbooks
• Stay current on emerging TTPs and threat actor behavior in banking sector
