Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) Singapore is seeking an experienced R&D/QA specialist in food science to support production troubleshooting, product development, and lab testing. You will prepare samples, maintain equipment, and document specifications for customers and sales teams.

The role covers QEMS and safety, collaboration with manufacturing sites, and technical training for internal stakeholders. Bachelor in Food Science plus 5 years in chocolate/confectionery applications is required;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the food industry (Chocolate and confectionery applications / Specialty fats and oils).
• Experience in food applications and product development is advantageous; strong internship or final year project background welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Support production troubleshooting and process improvement activities.
• Provide technical support to customers including product applications, RMPS, and complaint investigations.
• Participate in new product development and product improvement projects.
• Prepare samples for customers and the Sales team.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, quality records, and calibration activities.
• Support sourcing and implementation of new lab equipment and methodologies.
• Assist in maintaining QEMS and safety management within R&D.
• Plan and execute assigned R&D projects.
• Prepare technical documentation including product specifications, PDS and TDS.
• Conduct lab trials and support commercialization at manufacturing sites.
• Provide technical training to internal stakeholders and customers as required.
• Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and business trips as needed.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and maintain good housekeeping.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supporting production troubleshooting and process improvement activities.
• Providing technical support to customers, including product applications, RMPS, and customer complaint investigations.
• Participating in new product development and product improvement projects.
• Preparing samples for customers and the Sales team.

• Assisting in maintaining the Quality and Environmental Management System (QEMS) and safety management system within the R&D department.
• Planning and executing assigned R&D projects.

• Conducting laboratory trials and supporting commercialization at manufacturing sites.
• Providing technical training to internal stakeholders and customers when required.

Requirements:
