Job summary

ea recruitment pte. ltd. in Woodlands, Singapore is seeking an experienced Food Science/R&D professional to support product development and process improvements.

You will handle sample preparation, technical support, and collaboration with Sales for customer-focused projects. The role requires a Bachelor's in Food Science or related field and a minimum of 5 years in the food industry, preferably in chocolate/confectionery applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in food industry (Chocolate and confectionery applications).
• Experience in food applications and product development is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support production troubleshooting and process improvements in the R&D setting.
• Provide technical support on product applications, RMPS, and customer complaint investigations.
• Participate in new product development and product improvement projects.
• Prepare samples for customers and the Sales team.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, quality records, and calibration activities.
• Support sourcing and implementation of new lab equipment/methodologies.
• Assist in maintaining QEMS and safety programs within R&D.
• Plan and execute assigned R&D projects.
• Prepare technical documentation including product specs, PDS, and TDS.
• Conduct lab trials and support commercialization at manufacturing sites.
• Provide technical training to internal stakeholders and customers as required.
• Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and business trips as needed.
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety and housekeeping standards.
